Who is using it already? OEMs have their own approach already in use by VW, MAN trucks, BMW, they are the ones driving. Which is not consistent – problematic for suppliers. NA, OEMs are asking for gap analysis or example assessment. Used even in running projects that has hot problems, it may be their way of doing supplier monitoring.
When will it be officially released?
How will its new, standardized definition communize things?
Will it just add cost to a supplier that’ll be considered/sourced regardless of ASPICE? Will it be yet another way to evaluate existing suppliers (i.e., more inspection)? Or is there really good value for OEMs and suppliers here?
