This training prepares participants for the intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor (Automotive SPICE®) exam and builds on the knowledge gained in the intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® training. Participants will acquire valuable insights to support a certified Competent Assessor as a co-assessor during assessments within their own company or at suppliers, or to optimize processes based on assessment results.

In addition to attending the training, participants will be assigned several homework tasks to present during the course. Active participation throughout the training is crucial for success.

The content follows the curriculum published by intacs® and is delivered using the current intacs® training materials:

• Recapitulation of core elements of Automotive SPICE®
• Deepening knowledge about process dimension and capability dimension
• Rating mechanisms and rating rules
• Assessment process
• Sampling of work products for rating
• Interview techniques and note-taking
• Deriving objective evidence statements
• Various group activities accompany the training

The training is conducted flexibly within the given time and scope constraints to address the special wishes and requirements of the participants. The instructor keeps the training engaging by presenting numerous practical examples from their own experience and by facilitating a variety of group activities.

• Individuals planning to become certified assessors (Note: Certification as an intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® is a prerequisite to advance to the next step towards becoming an intacs® Certified Competent Assessor Automotive SPICE®).
• Anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of the Automotive SPICE® model.

• Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g., software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.).
• Intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE®

• In the case of examination participation, examination fees are added to the training price.
• The exam is administered by the VDA QMC. The Zoom software is used for online examinations. The use of a webcam is mandatory.
• After passing the exam, participants must actively apply to the VDA for certification. This additional step is done by the participant and is independent of the training.
• Additional fees apply for the exam and certification as published on the Website of VDA-QMC.

• This training is exclusively taught by experienced intacs® Certified Principal Assessors with extensive practical assessment experience. They are also accredited intacs® instructors.
• The training material is available in English.
• Each participant will receive training documents as well as a confirmation of participation.
• The seminar price includes the Process Fellows Pocket Guide Automotive SPICE® v4.0.
• When conducted online, all materials are provided electronically in PDF format.
