The Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAM supports the evaluation of the capability of a potential collaboration or partnership (e.g., for supplier nomination).It focuses on engineering and technical areas and is less time consuming than an Automotive SPICE® assessment. The Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAMis based on Automotive SPICE® and Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity. This training explains the Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis Process Reference andAssessment Model and prepares participants for the application in intacs®- and VDA-accepted potential analysis activities.

• Introduction and Overview to the Model
• Process Dimension including Guidelines
• Boundaries of Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAM
• Rating mechanism defined in Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAM
• Performing an Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis

The training is conducted as flexible as possible within the given time and scope constraints in order to respond to the special wishes and requirements of the participants.The instructor keeps the training interesting by presenting lots of practical examples from own experience, as well by conducting a variety of group works.

Target Audience:

• Automotive SPICE® assessors who plan to perform Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis activities.
• Process experts who support internal evaluation and improvement activities.

Preconditions:

• Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g., system/software development, project management, quality management, etc.).
• Participants should have knowledge about the Automotive SPICE® PAM.
• In best case, participants should have attended the "intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE®" training or should have a higher-level certification according to the intacs® assessor training scheme.

Certification:

The exam is taken by the VDA QMC. The software tool "Zoom" is used for online performance of the exam. The use of a webcam is mandatory.
• After successfully passing the exam, the participant must actively apply to the VDA QMC for certification. This additional step is done by the participant and independent of the training.
Please note: you will only get a certificate/license card from VDA/QMC if you are at least certified "Process Expert" (or higher).
• Additional fees apply for the exam and certification as published on the Website of VDA-QMC.

Further information:

• This training is exclusively taught by experienced intacs® certified Principal Assessors with extensive practical assessment experience. In addition, they are accredited intacs® instructors.
• The training material is available in English.
• Each participant will receive training documents as well as a confirmation of participation.
• When conducted online, all materials are provided electronically in pdf format.
