Former Canoo Vehicle Programs Chief Bill Strickland joins Envorso’s Board of Executive Advisors

DETROIT – Envorso, a consulting firm helping companies transform for the emerging mobility society, announced that Bill Strickland will be joining its Board of Executive Advisors effective May 1.

Strickland will lead Envorso’s interface with the electric vehicle, battery, charging network and car share sectors, as well as assess related emerging technologies and startups.

“I’m extremely pleased to be joining the distinguished group of industry veterans assembled at Envorso.  I’m eager to begin helping promising startup companies through the myriad operational hurdles that so often limit their ability to scale,” Strickland said.

Strickland has more than 25 years of experience in automotive product development. Most recently he was a co-founder and in charge of vehicle programs at EV manufacturer Canoo. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in product engineering, vehicle program management, technology, and manufacturing at Faraday Future, Ford Motor Company and FCA.

Strickland will be supported by the other Envorso advisors and consultants who have been drawn from leadership roles in the automotive and technology industries, and have expertise in building complex hardware and software integrated products and launching new vehicle programs.

“Envorso is excited that Bill will be joining us and providing his wealth of knowledge regarding electric and connected vehicles to our operations,” Envorso CEO Scott Tobin said.
